Trump wins Arizona, trouncing Harris

Good morning, Arizona. Here’s what our reporters are working on and what you should know about what’s happening across the state before you start your day.
Arizona, famous for its extended post-election ballot count, became the last state in the nation called in the 2024 presidential race. Two networks, CNN and NBC, on Saturday affirmed that Republican Donald Trump won Arizona. The state’s 11 electoral votes give Trump 312. Trump’s Democratic challenger, Vice President Kamala Harris, ended up with 226.
